The Office of Faculty and Staff Labor Relations reports to the Executive Vice President for Administration and CFO with a dotted line to the University’s General Counsel and provides strategic leadership and direction for the University’s labor relations and collective bargaining functions.This includes taking a leadership role in administering collective bargaining agreements, grievance handling, discipline, performance evaluations and contractual benefits. |

UConn Police Department

The University of Connecticut Police Department is an internationally accredited law enforcement agency. The Department is responsible for, and its primary mission is, the protection of lives and property at the University of Connecticut and all adjacent areas within the jurisdiction of the UConn Police Department. This includes the main campus in Storrs and the regional campuses located statewide. Reports of criminal activity should be immediately made to the UConn Police Department by utilizing your campuses local phone number or by dialing 9-1-1 in an emergency situation. The Community Police Unit offers educational classes throughout the year providing information and prevention on workplace violence situations, threatening and harassing behaviors. These classes are offered to the university community and can be custom made for your specific work environment. |
